Curtis Woodhouse – A retired footballer, manager and now boxer lost his English light-welterweight title on points to Shane Singleton on Friday.

This was the moment Internet Troll ‘Jimmyob88′ (6) (real name James O’Brien), who had been abusing Curtis for some time, threatening Curtis and his family, pushed a little too far.

Curtis offered a £1000 reward for anyone who could provide the details of the troll and his address; that took a few minutes 😯 so Curtis sets off from Hull to sunny Sheffield tweeting his progress along the way.

Just at the point that Curtis arrives at the end of James’ road he tweets an apology. 🙄 Apparently he ‘wasn’t home’ anyway.

To his credit Curtis said that he simply wanted to confront the Troll, but it’s hard to see that this situation would not have got tense to say the least. It’s also very hard to say that O’Brien didn’t have it coming. (6)

James and Curtis actually met for the first time this morning on the ‘Daybreak’ program, where James actually made a full apology to Curtis and the others he’s been abusing (there were several celebrities in the firing line), and they shook hands.

This is a good result for James, Curtis could have taken his head off if he wasn’t quite so reasonable, but imagine if the troll was mentally unstable or had some weapon of some type – that would have been potentially life threatening.
